FAQ

General

Our cupcakes aren’t your typical bakery dessert cupcake. These babies are vegan, gluten free, low calorie and low carb. With zero added oils, 50 calories and only 5 grams of net carbs, we’d say these cupcakes make the cut for breakfast alone.
Bakery cupcakes are cute and all, but they aren’t ideal for “whenever you want” due to their short shelf life and added preservatives for freshness. We wanted a cupcake you could reach for whenever, but without the preservatives. By keeping these cupcakes frozen, you get a preservative-free, long lasting snack.
Our cupcakes are designed to be enjoyed at any time of day due to their low sugar content and plant-based ingredients! Eat them straight out of the freezer, take one on-the-go at room temperature, or throw it in the microwave for 10-15 seconds. It’s the "whenever you want it" cupcake.
We like to think of our cupcakes as an “adult” cupcake. But, these are perfect for anyone who loves sweets or are looking to indulge a bit more mindfully. Our cupcakes are perfect for vegans, keto dieters, sweets lovers, diabetics, dads on-the-go, students, kids, athletes, and everyone in between!

Storage, Shipping, Packaging

Our cupcakes ship frozen! So, it’s important they are placed directly into the freezer upon delivery. While they can obviously be enjoyed at room temperature, they should be stored in the freezer for their 1 year shelf life or in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
We’re not like a regular cupcake, we’re a cool cupcake (Mean Girls reference anyone?) But quite literally, our cupcakes are best kept frozen for up to 1 year, or refrigerated for 5 days.
Are your shipping materials eco-friendly? YAS! Our shipping materials that keep your cupcakes frozen are 100% biodegradable. You heard right. We use foam and insolation materials that are made from non-GMO cornstarch. This means that there is ZERO waste and impact on our environment when we ship our cupcakes to you. We’re stoked about this, and you should be too. For more information, visit our Eco Love tab! Take a look to see all of the cool ways you can reuse this earth-friendly foam 😉
Tear the film and remove the Green Cell Foam panels. Recycle the film with other #4 plastics. Dissolve the Green Cell Foam panels in the sink; they're safe for pipes, septic and waste treatment facilities. Green Cell Foam is also backyard compostable.

Ingredients

Yes! All of our cupcakes are gluten free. However, our products are not made in a gluten-free facility.
Of course not. We don’t add any preservatives or fillers to our cupcakes which is why it’s important they stay frozen.
Yes! Anyone who is eating low-glycemic foods and/or suffering from Type 2 diabetes can safely indulge without worrying about a blood sugar spike.
YES. We intentionally created a cupcake that was low in fat, low in sugar, and plant-based, perfect for anyone watching their heart health.
They sure are! Our cupcakes have a total of 5 grams of net carbohydrates, so anyone following a low-carb or keto diet can safely enjoy 1 or 2 cupcakes at a time.
We use a mix of monk fruit, agave, and erythritol. By doing this, we can deliver a product that is both naturally sweet, keto-friendly and safe for diabetics. Agave: just a spoonful of agave in the entire batch! Monk fruit: a natural sweetener derived from the Lo Hao Gobi plant containing zero calories, zero carbs, and no impact on blood sugar. Erythritol: considered to be one of the safest sweetener alternatives! Erythritol doesn’t get the bad rep like traditional sugar alcohols, and it's generally tolerated well for most people. Like monk fruit, erythritol has almost zero calories, and no impact on blood sugar. This sweetener is safe for both diabetics and anyone following a low-carb diet.
While many “healthier” baked goods contain coconut oil, we choose not to add oils to our products. Coconut oil is an excellent source of healthier fat, but it’s also very high in saturated fat. For heart disease patients and overall heart health, we wanted to be conscious of those limiting their fat and saturated fat intake.
Oat flour is an excellent alternative to other gluten-free flours because it’s naturally high in fiber and low in fat. Many other gluten free flours such as cassava or tapioca flour lack nutrients, are high in carbs, and spike blood sugar. (No thank you!)
Coconut flour is gluten-free and super high in fiber, with a very low amount of carbohydrates. This makes it safe for diabetics and anyone looking to eat lower glycemic (sugar) foods.
Because essentially it's just almonds! Almond flour is gluten-free, almost carbless, and has a fair amount of protein. Hello plant power!
